Wire oscillation suppressing device for horizontally traveling type crane

Abstract

PURPOSE: To speedily suppress the oscillation angle of a wire by installing at least one sensor for detecting the time in which a wire oscillates, exceeding a prescribed limit point on each side and a control part for determining the lateral advance accelerating speed which is to be temporarily applied on a wire, in order to suppress the oscillation angle. CONSTITUTION: A control part determines the lateral advance accelerating speed which is to be temporarily applied on a wire, in order to suppress the oscillation angle of a wire 8 on the basis of the detection signal of the turning-ON time of the sensors 1 and 2. In this case, in the control part, the relation between each detection signal and lateral advance accelerating speed and the degree with which each value belongs to each corresponding stage is prescribed in the case when each detection signal of the sensor 1 and 2 and the lateral advance acceleration speed which is to be applied on the wire 8 are divided into plural stages according to the range of the value by a membership function (MSF). Then, the regulation for obtaining each stage in which each lateral advance accelerating speed is to be belonged according to each stage in which the detection signal is to be belonged is determined by a control regulation part 6.
